address pal uk european equivalent ??

quick question
if i wanted to get items from europe germany /france etc
can i use address pal uk or can it be used only for a shipment from uk mainland only
is there a european version on the way ??
looked at the site but bit puzzled by it

You can use it for delivery from any country, pretty much. It is after all just an address in the UK.

Bought some stuff from eBay which was delivered from China to the parcel motel UK address, as it was significantly cheaper than getting it delivered to Dublin, for whatever reason.
Same stands for address pal.

Of course, this makes all only sense if the company you order from does either not deliver to Ireland but to the UK, or delivery charges to UK are significantly cheaper. (Ignoring potential VAT related differences for the moment)
