Hi, I need to add USB 2.0 port to my computer to link a newer printer, I bought a 5 Port USB 2.0 PCI card but it acts as a hub, which my printer won't tolerate.....
any suggestions?
What do you mean "acts as a hub"? What specific make/model of card is it?
Why do you need USB 2.0 for the printer? Surely it's also compatible with USB 1.1? And a printer hardly needs the added throughput/speed of USB 2.0 versus 1.1? Or is it a case of your PC not having ANY USB ports before now?
