I was thinking of going on an activity/adventure weekend for my hen party instead of the usual pub crawl which i detest. Can anyone suggest a good place to go either here or in the UK
Just outside Kilaloe there is a UL Adventure centre on the lake that runs regular week-end stuff for adults they have some great weekends, plus the town has great restaurants and bars. There are other places like Caragh Lake in Kerry, Delphi and Killary in Galway that I have heard are good. Browse the adventure centre section of www.ireland.ie and you will get a good idea of what is out there.
We had a hen in Carlingford. There's hostel type accommodation and an Adventure centre in one! http://www.carlingfordadventure.com/ The windsurfing was a great laugh! Also, the town is really compact so handy for keeping the hen together!! (if that's what u want...!!)
