Accountant - South Cork??

Hi,
I plan to set up as a sole trader in the coming weeks and am looking for an accountant to help me along the way - however, I haven't a clue as to good/bad ones! Can anyone give a recommendation (or warning!) on accountants, preferably on the south of Cork city into Douglas/Rochestown/Carrigaline.

Might I recommend that you check out the websites of the recognised accountancy bodies in Ireland, most of them will have details of members in practice. The supervisory body of the accountancy profession in Ireland (IAASA) has links to all the recognised accountancy bodies on its website, here's the link.

While you will find guidance there I honestly think that the best recommendation comes from someone already using a particular accountant.
