I've secretly recorded hearings (illegal, I know), and while the reports get most details right, they often omit critical facts or twist what was actually said

Its not actually illegal to record conversations that involve yourself in Ireland. You dont even have to tell anyone you are recording it. But perhaps that is for a different thread.

At my RTB cases we were told no recording. I wish I had recorded the first one as the person in charge was rude and unprofessional. I knew pretty quickly I’d be ruled against. Justice should be in public but these cases are not in public, ours were online. By the time we got to my siblings hearing we knew better and got permission first my attendance.

While the adjudicator was phoning the RTB I popped off to the bathroom, you’re not allowed to do that either!
