I am helping a friend to register for this.

When we get to the Identification bit, it says



So we are stuck.

I have to choose two and have none of them.
 
Those who may not be used to downloading apps could certainly find the process a bit daunting. However the app gives step by step instructions and is easy to use. Once you can take a photo of your face using your phone and can place your passport as per instructions on the phone, then the process is straightforward. I completed the check in about 5 minutes.
 


What does this mean? When the person was born?
When did they start living here in the UK?
When did they start living in the current address?
 
Yes, if the person lived in the UK from birth - I don't think you have to second guess the questions

Getting your passport photo validated on your phone can be a bit hit and miss, but eventually it will work as long as you have good lighting

I put in the date he left because we thought it meant the date he started living in Ireland.

But it just shouts back
