A quick and simple mortgage calculator

A mortgage calculator has just been launched at

http://www.kalcit.com/

It's very simple and quick.

It doesn't work in Firefox yet.

Do any of the calculators do interest only calculations? I can't seem to find one.

Why do you need a calculator for that? Surely it's just the ((constant) principal x interest rate) / 12 = monthly interest only repayment?

Yes but I'm lazy.....I want to do a number of case scenarios. Trying to decide whether to pay down some of mortgages because of interest rate hikes, or invest approx 20K. The young wan stole my calculator and took it to college today. I saw Brendan's post as an opportunity!

Excel should allow all the case scenarios you need (pay off chunk/savings over different timeframes/etc.) and provide the calculations pretty fast for an interest only.

More a statement on why the option probably isn’t given all too often than a direction for you.

There is a "buy to let" calculator available through justmovein.net recently highlighed here.
