3 Mobile phone coverage in Youghal

Hi, a friend recently subscribed to a Three mobile phone contract, while he has no problem with coverage in Cork City when he is at work, for the past 5 days he has had alot of problems with coverage while at home in Youghal. Are there any Three customers from Youghal experiencing similar problems recently. He has been in contact with Three everyday but is getting very little satisfaction, would contacting ComReg help?

Hi i live in youghal and have been on three for a few years now and have never had a problem with coverage,maybe the handset is the problem??

Is it a 2G or 3G area, the phone might be configured to auto select and be switching between the two, which would result in dropping calls, waiting for signal to come back, messages not sending receiving.
