Renewal 1st October. Currently on Flex125 explore. But 18yo gets charged as adult in this plan.
no interest in day to day expenses. Do not like copayment sand shortfall payments. Will consider modest excesses circa €200. Want cover in smaller private hospitals out side Dublin.
Not interested in plans with restricted procedures etc.

What are the options for the 18yo? And the rest of the family?

Laya suggest essential connect family (young adult 18-25) sliding transition scale over 7 years. Thoughts on this?

For the two adults Laya Simplicity is a very good alternative option worth considering. Price 1191pa;

VHI are best value for the 2 children and 18 year old.
One + Plan is half price for the 2 children, until 31 October 2017. Price 148 per child;
PMI 40 15 (price 374) or PMI 12 11(price 363) are 2 plans worth considering for the 18 yr old.

There is no guarantee that the adult and 18 yr old prices will remain the same until October.
The child prices are confirmed until 31 October 2017.
