20k to invest - dont know where to start

I have a combined total of 20k in savings split between an AIB regular savings account and desposit 7 but i am not optimising my money.

the money will be used in the future to move house but wont be needing it within the next 12 months.

Am i better to put it on deposit or drip feed the monet into ESB family saver account. I'm so confused and want to get the best return for the next 12 months at least.

I am also able to save approx 200 eur per month.

All suggestions greatful.

Personally I would not invest in individual stocks unless you know what you're doing. There's too much risk out there at the moment!

As you said, you are not getting the best return for your money.

Would you consider a term deposit? You could lock the 20,000 EUR for 1 year @ 3.60% with Investec.
