100k Guarantee Query

Hi guys,could anyone clarify if the 100k guarantee is per account or per account holder,ie if i had 200k in a joint account would the guarantee extend to 200k as the account would be in two peoples names?

The current Irish bank guarantee is unlimited.

Your deposit, like many of the liabilities in the Irish banks is protected by the Irish state regardless of the amount.
