0818 numbers e.g. AIB number to ring from overseas

These 0818 numbers never work. Why do they continue to advertise them?

Their "contact us" page provides numbers for calling from abroad as well as the 0818 number

I don't bank with AIB , but TSB have a standard 01 area code number printed on the back of their cards to be used if contact from overseas is needed.
Any chance AIB provide the same?
