03 Toyota Corolla V's 04 Mazda 3

Hi Guys,

Our car was written off by a run-away trailer last friday and we have to replace it in the very near future i.e. next few days. Anyway had no intention of changing the car until maybe next year so weren't really keeping up to date on whats good and whats not on the car front. Spent the last couple of days traipsing around car dealers and have more or less narrowed it down to either the corolla or the mazda3. Any thoughts, warnings, preferences etc on either of these cars would be very much appreciated.

well if you can offer the poster in http://www.askaboutmoney.com//showthread.php?t=20379 a fair price I'd say that the choice will be made.

The Mazda 3 is a nice sporty little car. My sister owns one. Personally, I couldn't live with it as it is just too japanese for my liking but it is a lot more European feeling than the Corolla and my sister's car has been totally reliable.

My sister in law just bought one too.

Corolla is better by far.

I've had a fair few

I'm trading mine in at the week-end to a Lucan toyota dealer.

- has 14k miles is a 5 door '03 model, alloys air con etc

Might be worth a look!
