Some locals were doing the collecting, it was for a walkway at the bottom of the village. It's the new residents to the area that are raising questions of where the money went. The very first collection that was raised went into a bank in a local town and no answers can be got where that went...

No intention of drawing it on me, quite a few people are now openly questioning the whereabouts of the money, so going to be interesting to see if anything comes of it..

Good few grand each of the 2 collections, am tempted to tell them to get it out of what what money was collected last time if they show up looking for more.

Wondering what you think of this senario : House to house collections were taken up 20 odd years ago but no one knows what happened to the money. Fast forward to 2013 another house to house collection was taken up for another village amenity which has (we were only told this in the last week)...

We leave grass on the lawn as well so ashes will be going in bin. Neighbour down the road used to dump their ashes outside a farmers roadside ditch until they were caught and told to clean it up.

I got a third letter in the last 3 months from Ark Life today about proof of address and identity which I had already submitted so I rang them, said they were automatically generated and apologised and to ignore future letters in future.

Lodged a cheque to Permanent TSB last Tuesday. How long does it take to show up in A/C given Good Friday and Bank Holiday..

So if I have a cheque to lodge ( which I will have soon), could I use the branch that is now nearest me without going to the branch holding my accounts!

With TSB. Have a personal and a joint account with TSB.

Probably have to stay where I am if it means closing accounts
