An Post WILL deliver what arrives in Ireland from Amazon. The issue is the Post WON'T take on a package going off the island. Irish Amazon customer need an Amazon return address on the island, I .e. the Irish Amazon fulfillment centre.

Amazon give me a product return address in Slovakia. An Post won't take on a package that includes a battery. I have 2 faulty fit bands to return, weight 100 grams, How to get it back to them? Anybody had this experience and solved it. DPD quoted €39.

Just to add some info here I do have annual excess insurance, BUT damage to interior is not covered , wonder if this damage is by firms own policies is covered .

Not so sure about that. Tweeted a company myself, and I couldn't see it in their "Tweet" timeline, and didn't get any feedback. I think one of the conditions if not of all airlines then of Ryanair, that delays of up to 2 hours are not compensated or refunded.
