Hi,
I am sure this has been answered before but I can’t see it on the boards.
I'm shortly going to be working for a Dublin company as a contractor and have always been previously paid as a PAYE worker.
I have been advised to set myself up as Ltd company and to register for VAT.
Is it best to go to one of the companies that offer packages designed for contractors such as CXC in Cork offer (they set you up as a ltd company, and deal with all your tax returns) or to go to a traditional Accountancy practice?
As I’m not familiar with the whole process I am worried that I will not claim for all the expenses that I can and that ultimately I will not fully minimise my tax.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
