Hello - I work permanent, full time, public sector. 67 / 70 hours per fortnight (Reduced by 3 hours from full time). I was advised that my years of service would be proportionately reduced (i.e. 95% of a year for every year service) but that my lump sum and actual pension amount would be based on final salary for an employee on 70/70 as I would not be penalised twice. I have not been able to verify this anywhere - can anyone advise if this is accurate? Many thanks in advance.
