The houses there are really good value from what I can see,but I've heard reports about nightmare traffic in that area.Is it hard to get in and out of?Any other observations?

Traffic can be bad around there but its not gridlock and in fact has improved significantly in the past few months since the new road opened behind Dalriada so drivers who dont need to use the M50 can go that way.

What other observations are you interested in? Nice area, local shops nearby, mountains just behind you etc...
 
Fully agree - traffic is now a lot more calm, tho if there's issues on the M50, the Ballycullen Road tends to clog and it can take ages getting to Tallaght via Oldbawn depending on the time of day. It is a place where you'll want to have a car.

V.family orientated area, getting quite well established too and the houses seem a bit more spacious & substantial than newer ones I've seen. Also seems secure enough.
