woodlawn park grove

Hello there

Have been looking at properties for quite a while in the Rathfarnham/knockyon/Firhouyse area. Recently being looking around Rathfarnham village but my eye has been caught by the price and size of properties avaiable in woodlawn.
I am looking for advice about the estate is there a reason prices are 100 - 150k lower. Is it bad anti social behaviour etc or is it the fact it has a firhouse address. Any advice would be great. Two small kids so all the normal questions like schools, facilities etc but mainly anti social stuff

Hi there. You probably have moved on to pastures new but just to say my husband and myself bought a house in Woodlawn Park, Firhouse estate over two years ago. While it was an 'impulse buy' at the height of the boom, have to say the area has really grown on me and we think we got a good deal and sure there are even better to be had now.
