Hi all. A friend was living in Spain for a number of years and is home in Ireland for a week before emigrating to Australia. She was taking the maximum daily allowed out of her Spanish account here in Ireland using her pass card. However she has cheked here a/c online and noticed that they are charging 24 euro per transaction! So obviously this can't go on but her Bank are very unhelpful in suggesting alternatives so... Question 1: how does she get her money from her Spanish a/c to her Irish a/c. and Question 2: Does the same issue happen in Australia i.e. if she withdraws her money in Oz from her Irish a/c using her card is she liable for major transaction fees? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
