I have tv on the wall above the fireplace... the electrican left a pipe in the wall with "fishing wires" so we could fish a wire through the pipe. We bought a new dvd player at the wkend with HDMI connection. When we tried to fish the HDMI wire through the pipe the fishin wire snapped because we were pulling the wire to hard. Now we have no way to fish the HDMI wire through. The electrican did leave some electrical wires at the side of the pipe.... do you know if its possible to manually wire a HDMI connecter (i.e. cut the existing wire i bought in the shop and connect wires in the wall to it?)
