will we lose mortgage interest relief?

hi,
I wonder if anybody knows answer to this query?
My partner is planning to buy a house. He is a first time buyer. I already own a house and got the usual mortgage interest relief.
If we were to get married after he has bought the house,would either of us lose the mortgage interest relief?

Mortgage Interest relief can only be claimed on your principal private residence so if you are married you both live in the same house. You can't claim PPR on 2 houses so you will lose mortgage interest relief on one of the properties.

stamp duty
registering with PRTB
tax on profit on rental income etc
