Will new job affect affordable housing status?

I have been approved for affordable housing with Kildare County Council but the allocation of units is delayed due to an enforcement notice been served on the developer in Sept. I am applying for new jobs and 1 is a 2 year temporary contract with a Local Authority (not Kildare) will this affect my ability to get a mortgage for an affordable house? Or impact on my application if I was to take the job?

Yes a friend of mine had been approved for affordable housing and got a new job and was told he'd have to wait til he was permanant for a year in the new job before he could re apply for it, he lost his approval because of the new job as 1 of the criteria is that you have to be in a permanent job for a year.
