Let's say I have overpaid my mortgage to the max permitted. Lets say have €100,000 outstanding, and the breakage fee is €4,000.
Would KBC (and in 12 months time, presumably BOI) let me pay a break fee of €400, to pay off €10,000, and keep the remaining €90,000 on the fixed terms?
