I'm hearing that they have a fairly substantial backlog of applications at the moment so I'd say they won't be motivated to offer an incentive until they at least get their current pipeline cleared down.

If you waited for another incentive from them (which may never arrive), you run the risk of them increasing their mortgage interest rates in the meantime, which could wipe out the benefit of any switcher incentive.

And each month with your current lender is probably costing you money compared to switching.

I cannot see how they would need to incentivise new customers. There is already huge demand for their financial products.
