Will a broken ABS sensor fail NCT?

Hi,

If a car has ABS, but a sensor is broken (resulting in the ABS light being lit on the dash), will this result in an NCT failure?

The brakes are still working fine, btw.

I passed mine in same situation, but was a bit cheeky, covered the light with some insulation tape just in case, so it was not noticeable. Car was mechnically sound, just mechanic had broken sensor when changing a wheel bearing the day before the test and had no part to replace it in time.
