Wife claim Job seeker benefit

I wonder is it possible for my wife to claim job seeker benefit ,while I her husband stay at home to look after the 4 children.Do I still get an allowance as a dependant as would be the case for her if I was claiming?

If she is genuinely available for an seeking work and meets the other qualifying conditions then of course she can. She should just apply and see what they say.

Can't see why not. Obviously there is nothing that says only the "man of the house" can claim and the "woman of the house" can be the dependent!
