My husband and I recently had our house valued by DNG, Sherry Fitz and Savills who are all working locally in our area. We got a very similar valuation from all three. The only difference was the Sherry were suggesting we put our asking price on the upper end of the price range. Fees wise, Sherry were the most expensive and seem to charge more for their marketing but we got the impression most of them were willing to negotiate on the commission price.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips for what criteria we use to choose who to go with. Are they all the same at the end of the day and should we therefore just go with whoever is the cheapest fees wise?

Friend of mine used DNG to sell his house and purchasing a new one from them. They were very poor. No assistance when the house he was buying fell through no way proactive at all.

He would not use them again.

I dont know about any of the other companies

I used my local Sherry Fitz to sell my house (albeit in 2011). I thought they were quite professional and good to deal with.
