Where to invest - please help

Hi All
Love this forum and would appreciate your advice.

I have 70K I want to invest for 2 - 3 years or up to 5 years max.

No dependants, no credit card debt . In addition I have 30K that I want to keep liquid as Emerg Fund.

Mortgage is 550 per month, on tracker. Salary 70k basic and 10k bonus.

Where will I put, have no idea re stock markets etc

I want to also put 1k Per month away and 350 PM into Pension

2-3 year timeframe for an investment in equities is too short and probably not worth the risk. Even 5 year is an absolute minimum, you need to be thinking up to 10 years at least IMO.

Stick to cash if your timeframe is 2-3 or 5 years.

But I would max pension contributions if you don't need the money.
