I am building a new house and I am wiring for TV etc at minute. I have TV on chimney and I want to run wires from there to corner of room. I am looking to run scarts, audio l/r and composite video, s-video and a few HDMI. However, I need ones about 10 metres long. Are there any actual shops in Ireland where I can go in and get these?

Ebay, fraction of the price you pay to any shop in the country
your local electrical (tv) shop should be able to make these up for you. I got it done like this. Very cheap.
Try to bring the cables down the wall via a corner, put masking tape over and then paint over masking tape. Hides them nicely. Along floor, try and fit them behind the skirting.
This might seem like hardship now, but you will be glad in the long run.
