Where to dispose of used engine oil in Wexford area

I want to service my car myself and was wondering what to do with the used engine oil after the service.

Are there places that take this oil? What is the acceptable way of disposal?

In the Wexford area.

Just got confirmation from local authority Killurin dump that they'll take up to 5 gallons free of charge.
 
You could also throw it on the road at a corner during the circuit of Ireland rally and get some cool photos of crashes. :D

(Joke!!!)
 
Put an ad in your local paper, I know some people who use this waste oil to heat their homes with the help of an outside burner.
