I think I've seen frames with wheels to which you can attach a normal bag and it becomes a wheelie but I can't remember where and googling doesn't help. Has anyone seen these anywhere for sale please?

I have seen them for sale at airports in Spain. Probably available at other airports
too.
They are lighter than the inbuilt wheels in bags and cases and work well.
Good luck Browtal

I've seen them in Dublin airport.

There's always the http://www.amazon.com/Travel-Smart-Compact-Folding-Multi-use/dp/B002CV8UXE/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1349082485&sr=8-15&keywords=luggage+wheels (interweb) as well.

Argos have them.

Oooh, excellent, thanks!

Put mine in a skip. Dreadful things to be lugging around.

No doubt, but it's actually for my eight year old who's school bag is incredibly heavy.

Thanks Purple, if all else fails...

Ahem, I did think of that.:D

However I just bought her a new schoolbag at the start of the year ( without wheels). I didn't know she'd be carrying such a lot of books every day and she walks to school and home. So I was thinking that either I could buy the frame, if possible, but if not, I'll have to buy the new bag.

Glad to help. I remembered that I got one there some years ago. If you log into Argos, and search for 'luggage trolley', they seem to have a few different types.

Aldi or Lidl have a promotion later this week on buying a two-set of these.

Thanks Leper, I had a look at the specials on their websites and couldn't see them but I will keep an eye out.:)
