When is sale coming up for Aer Lingus/Ryanair?

Hi, I'm looking to book flights to Barcelona and I google Aer Lingus summer sale which informed me that the sale is currently on? I think at €166 that is dear and I wouldn't call that a sale!! Is that good value? Or did anyone hear on the grapevine of when the next sale will be on, or Ryanair?

I wouldn't hold out for sales booking flights. They're often not all they're cracked up to be, there have been previous threads here on prices that increased as the sales started.
 
Thanks for reverting Leo. I was thinking that and I plan to fly out on the 8th of September so prices will probably go up instead of down as that's not too far away. The sale is usually only one way anyway and then your goosed on the way home! Thanks for giving me the nudge. I have this fear that they will be on for €80 in a weeks time and then captain hindsight for patience will stab me!
 
Their sales are useless. I booked flights to Malaga recently and they were more expensive in the sales a week after I booked.
