A family member needs to buy a W.A.V . but is unsure of what pitfalls to look for.

As from looking online at of 2nd vehicles seem to have high mileage or even have been taxi's in a previous life.
Also is it possible to have the WAV insured as a 2nd car without having to start from Zero no claims bonus.
Any pointers would be appreciated..
 
Try the Irish Wheelchair Association; info on their website & will be helpful if you give them a ring.
 
As a taxi driver with a wheelchair license,my knowledge is that second hand prices have basically doubled and supply has all but dried up.
I'm sure none of this actually helps you.
I bought mine from OC cars near the airport,you could give them a shout.
