What to do with dollar cheque (v small amount)

I got a cheque yesterday for a miniscule amount ($2.51) - I had a fraction of a share in a company that has been bought out and all shareholders have been paid off - I wasn't given the option of having the proceeds(!) lodged to my share account.

I assume that it would be impractical to cash or lodge it, on account of the exchange rate and the fee. Does anyone know if there are any charities that it could be given to maybe? Or should I just frame it along with the cheque for $0.10 and the one for $0.01?!!!! (It cost $0.84 just for postage!!!)

I lodged a $ cheque for much the same amount only last week! I joked with the bank employee about it, but there was no commission deducted and my bank account is now richer by €1.56 or so.
