What questions to expect when applying for a business loan?

I am helping a friend apply for a business loan. The business plan is prepared and obviously most of the questions are answered in that. However, I am just curious to know what anyones experience has been when applying for the loan. Were you asked any questions you weren't prepared for?

"How would you feel about NOT proceeding with your loan application? See we need to fiddle the statistics to give the impression that we're open for business when the reality is we're nothing but parasitic scumbags who'd all be out of a job were it not for the very taxpayers who we're now refusing to help."
