What price roughly for golf lessons in Dublin??

Hi

Hubbys bday coming up, I phoned the golf club that he plays the odd time in. Can I name it?
They said €30 for a half hour. Is that a good price? I have absolutely no idea.
He is not a member of a club and plays here & there and I imagine he is an average player. Would you get much out of say, 2 lessons?

Just called another club and they charge €40 for half hour or €199 for 6 lessons. Is 6 a bit OTT for an average player? Again, no idea of anything golf related!!

30 Euro is quite good for a golf lesson. I pay €35 for 30 mins but I have heard of prices up to €40. Some golf pros offer a golf lesson which includes a video assessment. Its probably a bit dearer but might have a novely factor such as www.bpg.ie or [email protected]. I have no connection with either

Thanks Tanora, I ended up haggling a bit and getting 6 for €150 in Grange Castle golf club which I was happy with.
Hope they work now!
