wedding venue Dublin or surrounding ideas

looking to get married next year 130+ guests so trying to keep the reception cost under €7000. I like more modern hotels. any suggestion on hotels or reviews much appericated. I've been looking only online at castleknock hotel- some bad reviews but looks nice. Osprey - expensive, Carlton group.

You should check out the Leixlip Manor (formerly Liffey Valley House hotel).
You may run into problems if you want 130+ guests but you could ring and check with them.
It is in a lovely location and you will have it to yourself for the special day.

I was at a couple of weddings recently in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Meath. V nice and as far as I'm aware, good value and excellent to deal with (no affiliation btw!! - but had a good time! Food excellent. Amazing profitterole tower for dessert!!)

A friend got married in the Alexander last year; it was a great city centre location, so handy for people to get to.

castleknock hotel reminds me of an airline terminal. Hate the place (and I like modern hotels)
