Hi all,
Anyone used Wakam for home insurance?
Got a quote which competitive from them through a broker.
Never heard of them before, to be honest.
 
Did you approach the broker or vice versa?
Who is the broker?
Are you sure that this is legit?
How competitive? If it's too good to be true then it probably isn't.

I haven't used them, but have seen them pop up a bit in non standard motor insurance quotes. They're regulated in France, and have been around since the 1950s.

Their name has been used in cloning scams. Once your broker is legit, they won't sell you fake policies.

It is through a reputable broker, so I guess it is legit. Will do my due diligence and get clarification from broker.
 
Does anyone know how to tell if a policy issued by "Wakam" was issued by the real Wakam or the fake (per CBoI) Wakam?
Assume I don't have access to the history of the policy, I'm just trying to check whether the insurance disk as displayed represents a real policy.

The only way to know for sure is to contact them.
