VHI VHI old “Plan B” Replacment

Hi,

My mother has been on Plan B (and it’s replacement) for decades now. She is very conservative and does not want to move as she is highly risk averse.

Is there any plan which matches or betters all the benefits of this plan at a reduced price? If so, are pre-existing conditions covered?

Be careful assuming that the Plan X stays the same each year, they change them around and rename them quite a bit.
They have so many plans its very hard to know whats covered. They can also be very vague about what treatments are covered.
Consider it like car insurance you shop for a new plan each year.

I transferred from VHI plan B to Laya Simplicity 2 years ago.
Massive saving plus virtually same cover.
