VHI Multi trip travel insurance

Recently cancelled a family flight with Ryanair due to illness.
Claimed flight refund on VHI Multi trip insurance policy.
VHI returned the claim and stated that they don't refund the total cost, but only the amount exclusive of airport tax.
Ryanair did and do not provide an invoice showing the breakout of the airport tax, only the total amount paid.
Catch 22 - Ryanair do not provide the detail and I am not insured with them and VHI don't process the claim unless they have a breakout of the airport taxes.
Any ideas how to handle this one ?

Hi, there is no obvious way of getting this out of Ryanair. If you wish to start a process of claiming your airport tax back from them you can and the administration costs more than the refund is worth. But in terms of just getting them to provide the detail for someone else's process they don't seem to be able to do this.

Did your initial booking break out the costs? Could a screenshot of the current airport charges suffice (if shown on a current booking)?
