Mod note: split from this thread, which addresses a serious issue.

To take another "clever but biased" example, Kevin Myers has a BA in History from UCD from around the same time as VB's BA in Politics and Economics. Would you consider him an "historian"? Or just a contrarian polemicist from the other end of the political spectrum.

Actually, I could probably describe KM with fewer words... :D

Indeed, but I want to stress that I wasn't thinking of that at all when I used the expression.

Personally, I'd take a tipsy Vincent Browne over a stone cold sober Kevin Myers any day of the week.
