vanity units

Can someone please advise me on the pros and cons of the following options

1. Undermounted sink with granite or quartz and maybe a storage unit made up by a carpenter,

2. Wall mounted vanity unit

3. Wall mounted sink

vanity...wall or floor mounted takes up alot of space compared to wall hung sink

great for storage though if your room is big enough to take it

all pipe work hidden

personally the word "vanity" fills me with terror....modern versions are ok I suppose but "vanity" just screams 80's to me!
