I'm going to have two days free in Vancouver in May this year, arriving on a one hour flight on a Friday morning and leaving Saturday evening.

Does anyone have recommendations regarding the best tourist attractions in the city.

Also would appreciate suggestions for a nice hotel for that night.

Granville Island is the place to start for a short visit.

The Granville Island hotel gets good reviews, but I haven't stayed in it.

I'd Highly recommend the restaurant, make sure you book.
