Using Sky+ Remote Record with Irish channels?

yep, i do it all the time.
the web site can be a bit trickey to navigate but it has improved.

once you get a text working use this as a template for future ones.

web is cheaper as you will be charged for text.
remember also that you sky box must be on and connected to a telephone line.

I have been unable to remote record RTE 1, RTE2, TG4 and TV3 via the web as I cannot see them in my channels when I log into sky.com.
Don't know about the text option.

if memories serves be there is an option in your in your profile or somewhere on the screen on the tv listings option to say your region is ROI. i will check in a wee while, just heading into a meeting now.
 
sign into mysky and then go to tv listing. in the channel setup drop down box pick edit , manual setup, and then choose EIRE as the region. go back to TV listings and you will see RTE1 etc.
 
Thanks bigjoe, but I have already tried that and still do not see any of the Irish channels (RTE1, RTE2, TG4, TV3). Must be something to do with my card setup etc. Hadn't realised they were missing until I read the OPs post.
 
The irish channels are also missing for me from TV listings. They used to work before. I tried changing my region to 'EIRE' but it made no difference.
