Use of mobile phone while "striving" can lead to 3 penalty points!

I was taken aback somewhat to learn via a radio ad that use of a mobile phone while striving can lead to 3 penalty points. There goes my New Years resolution to get my run up to 5km in as many weeks!

And quite right too. Striving is so '2015' ( please imagine my hands doing quotation marks around 2015 for added annoyance factor). Resilience is the buzz word for 2016.*

*This may not help you in your 5k goal, but certainly allows me to be smug which, incidentally, may or may not be MY new years resolution.

I thing the problem with that ad/public service announcement is that it sounds like its clipped together digitally, it doesnt have a flow to it like any person I've ever heard speaking.
