Does anyone know where to get a list of things that airport security wouldnt like to be finding in luggage (apart from the obvious) so as to minimise hassle.

LEAVE IT OUT

For safety reasons, dangerous articles such as those listed below (list includes but is not limited to) must not be carried in your hand or checked baggage:
Lighters - Cigarette, cigar and 'blue flame' lighters are not permitted on one's person, carry-on or hold baggage.
Matches - "Strike anywhere" matches are forbidden for air-transport.
Compressed gases - deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous such as butane, oxygen, liquid nitrogen, aqualung cylinders.
Corrosives - such as acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries.
Explosives - Fireworks, flares, sparklers or other explosives.
Flammable liquids and solids - such as lighter fuel, paints, thinner and firelighters.
Radioactive materials
Briefcases and attache cases - with installed alarm devices.
Oxidising material - such as bleaching powder, peroxides.
Weapons - such as disabling sprays e.g. tear gas, mace, pepper spray.
Firearms - and a limited quantity of ammunition may be carried subject to proper packaging but you must contact us in advance.
Poisons and infectious substances such as insecticides, weed killers and live virus materials.
Solids - such as carbon dioxide, solid (dry ice).
Other dangerous articles such as magnetised material, offensive or irritating materials.

Don't put deodorants in the pockets near the case frame. Apparently there are chemicals in some that are also in explosives. I was wondering why my bag got extra security at all the US airports on a trip a few years ago and one of the TSA officials said not to put deodorant or loose coins in the inside pockets.
