Son is thinking of opening one of these accounts to mainly avail of concert discounts. He is aware of the €10 charge per month.

I have one because of the discount it gives on the mortgage and loan rates. I never use it for concerts etc. €10 a month is a fair amount to pay just to get discounts but I suppose if he goes to enough of them, it might pay for itself.

4 tickets for one concert alone is a good saving alright. Not sure how long he will have the ac as he will be going travelling later this year.

Having looked at the T&Cs there doesn't appear to be any minimum time to hold the ac for?

They offer mobile phone insurance aswell,including smart phones now - Iphone etc this can cost 10eur a month on its own

On double checking the T&Cs just knew there had to be a minimum time restriction and its shown as 6 months on [broken link removed]
