We're currently getting quotes for windows. I was quizzing the companies about U Value.
One company said the U Values are either 1.4 or 1.6 (and that 1.4 is a better U rating but that you sacrifice something by going from 1.6 to 1.4, can't remember what exactly).
Another company said their windows have a U Value of 1.1 (which is A-Rated (their words) unlike many competitors.
Can anyone give an unbiased view on U Values please.
