TRS - Refund - Held by mortgage lender

Just a question on TRS. I had it applied from the 4th month of my mortgage at source. Now i got a refund for the first 3 months - but my lender is holding this money on account. Can i get this paid out to me and are they just holding the money to make some interest on it for themselves?
 
contact the trs helpline (if you like the wait) and tell them the situation,then ring the bank and tell them the revenue said they have no right to hold this money and you want it straight away,usually does the job.
